The M-ERA.NET Transnational Call 2015 opened on

the 3rd of February 2015.

34 funding agencies from 22 European countries as well as Taiwan, Korea, Brazil Sao Paulo and Russia participate in this joint call.

Funding will be offered to innovative projects focusing on:

* Integrated Computational Materials Engineering

* New Surfaces and Coatings

* High performance synthetic and biobased composites

* Materials for Sustainable and Affordable Low Carbon Energy Technologies

* Tailoring of bioactive material surfaces for health applications

* Materials for Additive Manufacturing

 

Deadline for mandatory pre-proposals: 9th of June 2015, 12 noon Brussels time.

M-ERA.NET is a European network of public funding organisations and funding
programmes on materials science and engineering, for the benefit of European
industry and society. This EU funded project has been established to support and
increase the coordination of national and regional funding and research to develop a strong European RTD community which will support the competitiveness of the European economy.
The M-ERA.NET network consists of 25 European countries and 36 funding
organisations, of which 29 are national and 7 are regional. Between February 2012
and January 2016, the M-ERA.NET consortium aims to support the exploitation of
knowledge along the whole innovation chain, from basic research to applied research and innovation.
