National Contact Point

NATIONAL CONTACT POINT FOR RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURES IN RUSSIA

The Russian National Contact Point for the research infrastructures under Horizon 2020 (Research Infrastructures NCP), has been established and financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS in 2014.

Main mission of the NCP is to facilitate the cooperation between EU and Russia in the field of research infrastructures.

Core functions of the NCP are: informing, awareness raising; assisting, advising and training; signposting and cooperation.

The basic tasks f the NCP are:

- Providing information on the “Horizon 2020” to Russian scientific centers and organizations (in particular Research Infrastructures’ owners), guidance on choosing relevant H2020 topics and types of action;

- Advice on conditions and rules of participation for Russian organizations, administrative procedures and contractual issues;

- Training and assistance on proposal writing;

- Assistance in partner search;

- Providing information on the Research Infrastructures existing in Russia to European scientific community;

- Organizing and hosting events (conferences, seminars, information days, etc.), aimed at presenting “Horizon 2020” in Russia and vice versa Russian Research Infrastructure potential in Europe;

- Distribution of “Horizon 2020” documentation (forms, guidelines, manuals etc.).
