The Ministry of education and science of the Russian Federation announced an open grant competition for the international scientists cooperating with Russian institutions of higher education, scientific research organizations and governmental research centers of the Russian Federation.

The winners of the grant competition will receive grants of the Government of the Russian Federation in the amount of up to 90 million roubles each to be expended on implementation of research projects over the course of three years (2017 – 2019) with the possibility of being renewed for an additional two years.

The deadline for submission of grant applications is 12:00 Moscow time on May 31, 2016.

The grants should support successful research projects proposed for implementation within the following eligible scientific disciplines and research areas:

•        Natural sciences

•        Technologies

•        Agricultural sciences

•        Social sciences

•        Humanities

Applicants are invited to undertake the personal supervision of project progress by being physically presented at Russian host institution for a total of not less than 120 days in each year of the project implementation period.
