The Moscow International Medical Cluster (MMMK) is planned as an international center developed in cooperation with the leading medical facilities of countries belonging to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), an international organization headquartered in Paris and founded to boost international trade and economic progress.
One of the cluster’s key tasks is to train Russian doctors to work to international standards.

The 3-d International conference "EU-Russia S&T cooperation. Related support instruments and future opportunities" was held in Saint - Petersburg on October 7-8, 2016.
The main objective of the event was to present the European and Russian instruments supporting R&D&I, focusing on the three interrelated priorities – European Research Council (ERC), Research infrastructures and Marie Skłodowska - Curie Actions.

The BRICS STI Framework Program aims to support excellent research on priority areas which can best be addressed by a multinational approach. The initiative should facilitate cooperation among the researchers and institutions in the consortia which consist of partners from at least three of the BRICS countries.
Collaborative multilateral basic, applied and innovation research projects in the following thematic areas can be submitted in response to the call:
Armenia joins Horizon 2020 to work with EU in research and innovation

Researchers and innovators from Armenia will now have full access to Horizon 2020, the EU's research and innovation funding programme, under the same conditions as their counterparts from EU Member States and other associated countries.
The agreement associating Armenia to Horizon 2020 was signed on 19 May by Carlos Moedas, European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, and Levon Mkrtchyan, Armenian Minister for Education and Science.
Commissioner Moedas said: "EU research, science and innovation is open to the world for collaboration. Armenia is now the 16th country associated to Horizon 2020, the world's largest public funding programme for research and innovation. This will bring new and different expertise and ideas, and enrich our international research cooperation."
