The purpose of the new experiment is to find an explanation for phenomena not described by the Standard Model of elementary particle physics: the existence of dark matter and the absence of antimatter in the Universe. An international workshop " SHiP: preparation of new experiment at CERN" will be held in Moscow on September 30, 2015. The main goal of this event is to discuss R&D issues of SHiP project which are relevant to competenses of MISIS and other Universities in the area of Materials Science. The spokesperson of the SHiP collaboration Andrey Golutvin (Professor of Physics, Imperial College London and CERN), LHCb technical coordinator Prof. Rolf Lindner, and SHiP technical coordinator Prof. Richard Jacobson will take part in the workshop.
